Interactive Multimedia
for the Web |
| Description |
Interactive multimedia for the Web is built around Flash 5, the software of choice for Web development professionals who want to add complex animation, sound, and interactivity to their Web sites. The course will demonstrate how to integrate Flash into a standard HTML site, and how entire sites can be built exclusively in Flash. Students will also learn how to use Flash in conjunction with other software, such as Illustrator, Freehand, Poser and Photoshop, and they will also learn about other applications that enable the building of rich media environments, including the requirements for making audio-video presentations that can be played in Real Player or
QuickTime. Students will also receive an introduction to the fundamentals of object-oriented programming (OOP) with a review of Flash's Action Script
