Course Overview:
Server Side Java Track / XML is a hands-on program designed for Java/XML
developers planning to jump-start in industry ready solutions based techniques. Focus is
placed on JSP, Servelets, Enterprise Java Beans, JDBC, RMI, CORBA, JDOM, Java based XML
Parsers and Java/XML development environments. Rational Rose is used for Object Oriented
Analysis and Design as well as Data Modeling. Oracle 8i and SQL Server serve as Database
engines. IBM WebSphere, BEA WebLogic, JRun and Oracle JDeveloper are used as Java Servers.
This course takes a real corporate project from the financial world and implements it step
by step in class. Focus is on bringing industry based solutions to class rooms for
participants to learn hands-on Java/XML the way industry needs today.

Prerequisites:
This course requires basic knowledge of programming and web development.

- A minimum PC configuration consists of at least a 486/66 CPU
with 32 MB of RAM.
- To access the Internet directly they need to be able to
communicate via the Internet TCP/IP protocol.
- It is suggested that the TCP/IP stacks on each PC be
configured with the Windows for Windows NT/2000 Server.
