Sysoft ERP selection and implementation methodology:

  • Adopting a proven project governance model, with support from the highest level of the organization.
  • Creation of a “Super User” group for involvement the functional requirements definition phase to the testing phase before go-live.
  • Identify employees that will serve on the implementation team and the estimated time for their participation.
  • Identify location for the “ERP War Room”.
  • Conduct detailed market research prior to solicitation release.
  • Conduct detailed market research prior to solicitation to identify implementation firms and their specialties.
  • Determine if a single ERP solution will be required, or if individual best-of-breed functional solutions will be considered for integration with the main ERP.
  • Develop a Functional Requirement Matrix along with a methodology to score and rank responses to the Requirements Matrix Questionnaire.
  • Use of Sysoft eRFP proposal evaluation module designed to objectively rank ERP vendors.
  • Development of detailed software demonstration scripts to be followed by all short-listed respondents to ensure an apples-to-apples comparison of each software product.
  • Development of a Software Implementation Services Agreement specifically tailored to the ERP implementation.
  • Site visits to referenced agencies to see proposed solutions in a "live" environment.
  • Author end user training material with the assistance of the implementation firm and the Super-User group.
